How Cashed works
Cashed is a fee bridge. A token points its creator fees at us, we claim them on chain, and 80% is paid in dollars to the creator it names, on X, Spotify or fomo. Nobody has to sign up to be paid.
1. Overview
Cashed turns a token's creator fees into dollars in someone's pocket. A deployer launches a token on pons, on Robinhood Chain, and points its creator fees at the Cashed fee address for a creator account. That account is who the fees are for.
Everything between the two is mechanical. Fees accrue as the token trades, Cashed claims them on chain on a schedule, 80% is credited to the recipient and withdrawn in dollars, and 20% goes to the protocol treasury. Every step is recorded against the claim that produced it, and every payout is confirmed in public.
The recipient is not asked to do anything first. There is no account to make and no wallet to connect, so a payout can arrive from a token they have never heard of. Nothing moves without the recipient: a balance is credited in their name and only they can withdraw it, and they can ask us to remove their account (section 15).
- 1A token directs its feesAt launch, the deployer sets the Cashed fee address for the handle as
creatorFeeRecipient. On pons that field is set once and only the recipient can move it afterwards. - 2The description names the creatorOne line says who the fees belong to:
Fees to @yourhandle via Cashedon X,Fees to spotify:userid via Cashedfor a Spotify user,Fees to spotify:artist:artistid via Cashedfor an artist. - 3The token registers itselfThe indexer sees the fee direction on chain and registers the token. There is no approval step.
- 4Fees are claimedCashed claims accrued creator fees on a schedule and records each claim against its transaction. The split is 80/20.
- 5The recipient is paid in dollarsThe creator signs in with the named account and withdraws the share as USDG in one transaction; the gas is on us.
2. Supported platforms
A creator is an account on a platform. Cashed pays the account a token names, whichever platform it lives on, and the recipient proves it is theirs by signing in with that same account. Platforms are added one at a time.
- X
- Live. Named by handle; the stable numeric id is what the fee address is derived from, so a rename changes nothing.
- Spotify
- Live, for artists and users. Artists are searched by name (or named by artist link); artist pages have no login, so Cashed pays them by hand on request and records each payout on chain. Users cannot be searched by name: they are named by pasting the profile link (open.spotify.com/user/…) and withdraw by signing in with Spotify.
- fomo
- Live. Named by fomo handle. fomo traders keep their wallet inside the fomo app, so there is nothing to sign in to: every 30 minutes, once the share is worth $20 or more, it is converted to USDG and sent to the wallet they trade with, after that wallet has been confirmed on chain as theirs. A fomo trader can ask to be left out (section 15).
- Next
- Twitch, GitHub, Farcaster, TikTok. Announced, not built: a token cannot name them yet.
3. Supported venues
Cashed reads fees from pons v2 on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). pons launches every token on a bonding curve and graduates it into a Uniswap v4 pool with permanently locked liquidity; the creator fee is the same rate before and after graduation and is always paid in the asset the launch is priced in.
- pons v2
- Robinhood Chain. Live. Fees directed at creation, as the creator fee recipient.
- Custom pairs
- Launches priced in an approved ERC-20 instead of ETH pay fees in that token, and are paid out in that token.
- Other launchpads
- Not supported. A token whose fee recipient is not a Cashed fee address is simply not indexed.
4. Directing fees
Directed at creation. The creator fee recipient is one of the fields set when the token is launched, alongside its name and image, so pointing it at Cashed is part of creating the coin rather than a second visit. The launch page fills it in for you from the handle you pick.
There is no separate lock step, because the assignment is its own lock: pons lets only the current recipient hand the fee recipient on. Once Cashed is the recipient, the deployer cannot take it back.
- When
- At creation, as the creator fee recipient
- What we watch
- The
TokenLaunchedandCreatorFeeRecipientUpdatedevents on the pons factory - Made permanent by
- Assignment itself. Only the current recipient can move it.
A token launched elsewhere on pons can be registered later: the current fee recipient calls transferCreatorFeeRecipient with the Cashed fee address for the handle. The Register tab does that in one transaction.
5. Naming the recipient
The fee address already says who gets paid. The description line exists so people reading the token know it too. Put this in the description, with the account you want paid:
Fees to @yourhandle via Cashed Fees to spotify:userid via Cashed
Use the format exactly, anywhere in the description. Write whatever else you like around it. The launch page appends it automatically. pons allows 256 characters, so keep the rest short.
The recipient does not need to agree, know in advance, or hold a wallet. A token can be launched for someone, and the first they hear of it is the money arriving and a public reply saying where it came from.
6. The 80/20 split
Every claim divides the same way. There is no discretion in it, no schedule to negotiate, and no tier that changes it.
- To the recipient
- 80%, withdrawn in dollars by the named account
- Protocol cut
- 20%, sent to the treasury in the same transaction
- Applied
- Per claim, at claim time, on chain
- Fees we add
- None. The 20% is the whole of it.
- Can it change
- The recipient share can be raised by the protocol owner but never set below 50%.
7. How claims work
Creator fees do not arrive continuously. They accrue on the curve (or on the Uniswap hook after graduation) and reach the pons escrow when pons sweeps them. Cashed claims them from there on a schedule rather than on every trade, because claiming per trade would spend more in transaction fees than it collected on a quiet token.
Each claim is written to the ledger keyed on its own transaction, so a claim cannot be recorded twice and every obligation can be traced back to the on-chain event that created it. The recipient share and the protocol cut are both computed at that moment, from that claim, and neither is recalculated afterwards. A claim can fail. The fees stay accrued in the meantime and are not lost.
Payout milestones
Payouts land at milestones. A creator's share builds until it crosses $5, then $10, $20, $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000, and every $1,000 after. Each crossing sends the full balance. Balances below a milestone keep building; nothing expires for a resolved recipient.
8. Getting your fees
If a token has named your account, the money is already yours. There is no form to fill in: sign in with that account on the payout status page and withdraw it in dollars, whenever you like.
- 1A token names your accountSomebody launches a token and points its creator fees at your X, Spotify or fomo account.
- 2Fees accrue and are claimedTrading generates creator fees. Cashed claims them on chain on a schedule.
- 380% is paid to youBy claim or by push, depending on the platform (section 9): you withdraw it from the payout status page, or it is sent to a wallet you already have.
- 4A public reply confirms it@GetCashedMoney replies so you and your audience can see where the money came from.
You are not required to do anything, acknowledge anything, or agree to anything. Receiving a payment does not make you a customer of Cashed or a promoter of the token that named you. Money you receive may be taxable to you; nothing on this site is tax advice.
9. Payments: claim or push
A share reaches its creator in one of two ways, and the platform decides which. Claim: the share is credited on chain in the account's name; the creator signs in with that account on the payout status page and withdraws it as USDG, gas paid by Cashed. Nobody else can move it. Push: Cashed sends the share to a wallet the creator already has, with nothing to sign in to, every 30 minutes once it is worth $20 or more.
- Spotify
- Claim. Sign in with Spotify on the payout status page and withdraw. Artists, whose pages have no login, are paid by hand on request.
- fomo
- Push. Converted to USDG and sent to the wallet the trader uses on fomo, after that wallet has been confirmed on chain as theirs.
- X
- Push through 𝕏 Money when the account has 𝕏 Money receiving enabled. Otherwise claim: sign in with X on the payout status page and withdraw.
Either way every payout is recorded on chain against the account's fee address, so nothing is paid twice, and a creator can ask to be left out at any time (section 15).
10. 𝕏 Money setup
This section applies to creators named on X. How each platform is paid, claim or push, is in section 9; the withdraw path in section 11 is the claim.
Payments settle into 𝕏 Money, so the only requirement on your side is an 𝕏 Money account that is open to receiving. That is configured on X, not here, and Cashed cannot open one for you or change its settings. 𝕏 Money is available to X Premium members, which covers a large share of the handles a token is likely to name. Where a handle can already receive, a payout simply lands.
We do not check first and we do not wait. When a balance crosses a milestone the payment is sent, and if the handle has not opened 𝕏 Money it arrives as a claimable payment with a claim window set by 𝕏 Money's policy.
11. While 𝕏 Money is pending
Cashed has applied for 𝕏 Money access and payouts through 𝕏 Money begin as soon as it is granted. In the meantime nothing you are owed is lost or delayed on our side: every claim already credits your share on chain, in your name, the moment it happens.
If you would rather not wait, you can withdraw today. Open the payout status page, sign in with the account the token named, and send your balance to any Ethereum address on Robinhood Chain. You sign a message in the browser and Cashed covers the transaction fee. Behind that page each creator account has its own on-chain fee address whose balance only that account can move; signing in is what proves you are the account.
Once 𝕏 Money is live, balances still owed are off-ramped to dollars through the Kraken API and sent through 𝕏 Money automatically, and the withdraw path stays available as an alternative. A balance you have already withdrawn is never paid twice: every payout, by either rail, is recorded on chain against your fee address.
12. The public confirmation
Every payout is announced. @GetCashedMoney replies to the recipient with the amount and the token it came from, so the recipient and their audience can both see it. Every claim and payout also shows up on the payments page with its transaction.
We do this so the recipient can find out at all. Most were not asked before their handle was named, so the payment is usually the first they hear of it, and the reply is what they and their audience can check it against.
13. The treasury and the off-ramp
A token earns its fees in ETH on Robinhood Chain. The payout rail is in dollars, so the treasury is where they meet. Fees are claimed on chain, the recipient share is converted to US dollars through the Kraken API in batches rather than one per payout, and payouts are sent through 𝕏 Money from a pre-funded float. The protocol cut stays in the treasury.

14. Unclaimed payments
On X, any account can be named, whether or not it has 𝕏 Money, and the payment is sent either way. If the handle already has 𝕏 Money, it deposits automatically. If it does not, 𝕏 Money holds the payment as claimable and notifies the recipient. The claim window is 𝕏 Money's, not ours. If a payment expires, the funds return to our 𝕏 Money account and pass to the protocol treasury. A handle that has asked not to be paid is covered in section 15.
15. Stopping payments
On X and Spotify Cashed never pushes money to you: a balance is credited in your name and only you can withdraw it. On fomo the share is sent to the wallet you trade with, and asking to be left out stops that from the next cycle. To be removed from the site, open the opt-out page, sign in with the account the request concerns, and send it. If you cannot sign in, write from the account, or with reasonable proof you control it, to @GetCashedMoney or admin@cashed.money. We honor removal within 7 days: your handle comes off the site, it goes on a do-not-pay list, and we stop claiming the creator fees of tokens that name it. Anything already credited to you stays yours to withdraw.
16. If a token is not registering
- Wrong recipient
- The creator fee recipient is not a Cashed fee address. Check it against the address the launch page gave you.
- Unknown account
- The fee address belongs to an account nobody looked up on this site before the launch. Register the token from the Register tab on the launch page.
- Too recent
- The indexer reads the chain every minute. A token created moments ago has not been seen yet.
- Redirected
- The fee recipient was moved away from Cashed. The token stays visible but no longer pays the creator.
17. Glossary
